It all begins with an Idea

It all begins with an idea. This bracelets are the items we ever made! We were just looking for a way to do our annual fundraiser, It was the end of the year 2018 …That year our co-founder son was diagnosed with a brain tumor due to Neurofibromatosis (NF) he was only 3 years old, the family was devastated, we weren’t sure what we were facing. After we took some time to process the news, we decided that we need to keep doing our fundraiser, it was the time to be even more proactive and support Jake and the NF community more than ever. While we were brainstorming Mike senior came up with the Idea of making leather bracelets… After all he was doing leather work as a hobby since the 70’s! We decided to make the bracelets, sale them and donate all the money for medical research !!! while planing Rubi told Mike senior that maybe they can make purses too! (Mike had gave Rubi a purse he made a couple of years ago for christmas) Rubi said there is a black tote that I would love to make and it doesn’t seem to complicated to make, she said to what Mike senior reply the only problem is that for purses like that one we need to sew it in a sewing machine and I don’t know how to do that… OH BUT I DO !!! said Rubi she learned how to sew when she was about 11 year old. (…But she never told Mike senior that she never touch the sewing machine ever again) but she was determinate to re-gain the skill of sewing. Mike had an old heavy duty machine an they start working together making purses after completing the sale of the minimalist bracelet .
